Two Guides. One Incredible Country.
Two Guides. One Incredible Country.
We grew up bouncing between North America and Japan, and as we got older, we realized we had a unique perspective. We knew the secret spots in the mountains that the locals kept to themselves, and we understood the culture well enough to navigate it with ease.
We started this company because we saw too many friends struggle with trips that were either too "touristy" or way too complicated to plan. We wanted to offer the trip we would want to take: deep snow, incredible food, authentic culture, and zero stress.
Your Guides, Your Hosts
"I grew up on the snow, but I found my love for Japan in the food. My brother and I speak fluent Japanese and love exploring the back bowls and the back alleys of Japan's ski towns. My favorite part of guiding is that moment when a guest tastes a dish they can't pronounce but immediately falls in love with. When I'm not skiing, I'm scouting the next off-the-beaten-path onsen for us to visit."
"For me, it’s about the snow. I’ve skied all over the world, but the consistent quality and depth of Japan's powder is unmatched. I use my language skills and local relationships to make sure we hit the right mountain on the right day. I love showing guests the 'locals only' side of Japan—the tiny noodle shops, the late-night bars, and the serene mountain views that most tourists miss."
"Respect for the Mountain, Respect for the Culture."
We believe that a great ski trip is about more than vertical feet. It’s about the quiet moments—watching the sun set over a snow-covered forest, the warmth of a hot spring after a cold day, and sharing a delicious meal with new friends. We treat Japan with respect, we support local businesses, and we leave a lighter footprint while having the heaviest fun.
